Return and exchange policy

Returns:

Returns and exchanges may be accepted only if the thing bought has been proven to be the thing sold or referred on the official receipt/certificate. Returns and exchanges will be taken after proven by a capable expert on Gemology or by authorized organizations. Returns/Refunds are possibly given when purchased items are brought into the store with every important documentation and when the item is in original condition as when sold.

All the important aspects will be checked and confirmed by specialists/associations. if you paid via card, preparing charges will be deducted before giving refunds. The amount to be refunded will be calculated.

Exchanges:

Exchange of products can be done at Rathnajaya Gems & Tools stores. We will not release any product you want to exchange until the original product has been received in our store. We can reserve the product to make sure you receive the product of your choice. When exchanging goods on which you have received any discount or a special offer, that discounted rate/offer will no longer apply.

Online orders:

Items on this website can be ordered online and our teams will guarantee to deliver the items in its best quality and as you see on the website it will be delivered safely to your doorstep anywhere in the world. You can pay using methods such as Credit/Debit card or Direct Bank Transfer to one of our accounts in Sri Lanka.

Shipping/Postage:

The essential delivery charges, customs duties, taxes will be paid in Sri Lanka by Rathnajaya Gems depending on the item. When the item has  arrived at the destination (Country or city) it will be the responsibility of the recipient of items to pay the right amount of customs duty or taxes which depends on the laws of the destination country.

User conduct:

Users are responsible for the activities conducted in connection with the website. Any false, abusive, or illegal activity will be not be favorable to our website and we will be tracking all the activities regarding false, abusive, or illegal activity to take necessary action.
